Fides et Ratio Conference

Inspired by Pope St. John Paul II’s insistent appeal to the Church, “that faith and philosophy recover the profound unity which allows them to stand in harmony with their nature without compromising their mutual autonomy,” (Fides et Ratio, 48), the conference will address some of the most pressing questions at the interface between contemporary science, philosophy and faith in God, focusing on two main areas: the relationship between Creator and creation and the place of Christian beliefs and values in contemporary secular society.
